How to Never Get a Scholarship: Don't Apply

The "Scholarship Listing" link takes you to a spreadsheet which is great listing of scholarships available locally, regionally, and nationally for the benefit of our students as well as those from other schools, especially students in the county and region. The list was complied by by William "Bill" Jentsch (ACHS '76) and Jenny Phillips Schroeder (ACHS '92) with the help Fred Walsh (ACHS '70) and Robert and Ann Berger. Anyone aware of additions or changes to be made to the scholarship listing should contact Mr. Jentsch.
Local Scholarships
Local Scholarship Applications for ACHS seniors only are due in Counselor's Office by April 15. Download an application here:

The Gray Family Scholarship is available to high achieving students in the North Central Texas area with UIL math and science competition experience. Special consideration is given to students from ACHS and Windthorst HS. It is due May 1. Download here:
