US Cellular Offers Cash to Schools
by Bethann Oswald
November 23, 2009
U.S. Cellular will award $1
million to schools through their Calling All Communities
campaign. Ten schools across the country - big, small,
public, private primary, middle and high school - with the most
votes will win $100,000 each to use however they choose and your
school could be one of them.
Last year’s 10 winners built new playgrounds, bought new desks and books, upgraded computer labs and repaired a damaged gymnasium.
Here’s how you can
give our school a chance to become a Calling All
Communities champion:
Go into any
U.S. Cellular store between November 13, 2009, and January 15,
2010, to get a code to use online to vote. There is no purchase
necessary and you don’t need to be a U.S. Cellular customer to
vote. Please choose ARCHER CITY HIGH SCHOOL as the benefiting
school.
