The Archer City ISD faculty and staff are eagerly awaiting your children’s arrival this year! Our primary goal continues to be the safety and well-being of our students and staff. In order to adequately prepare for a smooth start of school, we are needing several pieces of information from you. And, in turn, we would like to share some info with you. Please read this entirely and carefully. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call your campus office for clarification. Please respect all deadlines listed below so that we may adequately prepare.

You may review the “ACISD Return to School Plan” posted on the ACISD website at www.archercityisd.net. The plan outlines many procedures and policies relating to COVID-19 and the precautions we are taking to ensure your child’s safety. This plan may have amendments as the CDC changes guidelines. 
Enrollment/Registration – Due Friday, August 7, 2020
ALL parents/guardians will need to log in to acisd.schoolmint.net using your EXISTING account. Please do not create a new account. If you need help resetting your password, please follow the reset password instructions. Even if you completed the re-enrollment process last spring or you recently registered as a new student to ACISD, we need you to complete the process for the new year. Be sure you have listed each child in your household that will be attending ACISD this year.

If you need assistance with acisd.schoolmint.net you may call your campus office. We are also offering the HS computer lab in the north end of the HS for your use if you do not have Internet access or need in-person help. The lab will be open Tuesday, August 4 from 1-2:00 PM and Wednesday, August 5 from 5-6:00 PM. Staff members will be on hand to assist.
Return to School 2020-21 Survey – Due Friday, August 7, 2020
Students will be allowed to elect virtual online learning due to COVID-19. While we hope to see everyone in person, we realize some may have special circumstances that require them to take this precaution. Students and all visitors are encouraged to wear masks while attending school. However, this is not a requirement. Students and staff will also be encouraged to wash hands often and social distance when possible.
We also want to let you know that students in grades 7-12 that elect virtual learning MAY still participate in extracurricular activities, AS LONG AS they are fully engaged on a daily basis with their schoolwork, submitting all assignments by due dates and attending practice, etc. required by the coach or extracurricular sponsor. Students that do not engage, complete, and submit assignments when due and attend practices, etc. will not be allowed to compete or participate.

Please complete the Return to School 2020-21 Survey indicating for each of your children, whether they will attend school in person or elect virtual online instruction.

Meet the Teacher (MTT) & Student Schedules: Procedures are different for each campus. Please read carefully below.
JH/HS Campus-Grades 7-12:
  • Students grades 7-12 will receive schedules via the Parent Portal. Parents, if you have forgotten your login information, please follow the Password Reset instructions or contact your campus office for help.
  • Starting August 13, all students in grades 7-12 will log in to Google Classroom, (classroom.google.com) with their Google account @archercityisd.net to see their class information posted by each of their teachers. This info will include an introductory video from each teacher, a class syllabus and school supplies needed for the class. If a student has forgotten their @archercityisd.net login information, they need to email: support@archercityisd.net. providing their full name and grade.  All new students will need to do the same to obtain login credentials. (You should expect up to 24 hours before receiving a response.) If you require a password reset, you will log in with the password: wildcats then be prompted to change your password on the first login.
  • ONLY student entering grade 7 and students NEW to ACISD, with their parents, will attend an orientation in person, Monday, August 10 at 6 PM in the auditorium. We ask that ONLY the JH/HS student(s) and their parents attend. Limited staff will be on hand.

Elem Campus-Grades PK-6 Meet the Teacher (MTT):
  • Tuesday, August 11th – grades K, 1, 3, 5 and your student’s last name begins A –L will meet your teacher from 6:00–6:30 PM. Last names beginning with M – Z, will meet your teacher from 6:45–7:15 PM.
  • Thursday, August 13th -- grades PK, 2, 4, 6 and your student’s last name begins with A –L, will meet your teacher from 6:00-6:30 PM. Last name beginning with M – Z, will meet your teacher from 6:45–7:15 PM.
  • We ask that only the student and parent(s) come to MTT. We want to keep you and everyone else as safe as possible.

Sports Games/ Events – Online Ticket Sales
ACISD will be using an online marketplace for the athletic ticket sales this year. We have limited capacities for home and away games due to CDC guidelines. Tickets will also be reserved for district guests. Please contact your campus office if you have any questions.

    Process for each student in your household. BOTH PARENT/GUARDIAN AND STUDENT SIGN.
    Please review all ACISD policies posted at www.archercityisd.net/policies prior to completing the enrollment process. It is important that you and your student(s) understand these policies BEFORE signing the acceptance pages. Discuss with your student(s) to verify understanding of these policies before you both sign.
    Log in to acisd.schoolmint.net to complete the enrollment process for each student in your household. (Required for ALL, even if you did the re-enroll last spring.) ONLY students NEW to ACISD should create a new account in School Mint. All returning students must use their existing parent accounts.
  • You may use a mobile device or computer to log in and begin the registration process by following the steps below.
  • Remember, ALL students and parents need to complete, even if you completed the re-enrollment process last spring.
  • Go to: acisd.schoolmint.net. Please choose "Sign Me In" and use your existing account. Do not create a new account UNLESS you are a NEW STUDENT to ACISD.
  • This should be complete NO LATER than AUGUST 7, 2020.
  • If you need to step away and finish your forms later, use the green button "Save and Continue Later" to save your progress.
  • Parents that completed the re-enrollment process will be prompted to complete only the items that have recently been posted or revised.

3. Deadline: August 7, 2020 – ALL Grade Levels—

Complete “Return to School Survey” Complete the “Return to School 2020-21 Survey” to indicate whether your student(s) will be attending school in-person or electing to receive virtual instruction among other pertinent info required by ACISD for the start of school. If you have questions about any of the required forms please call your campus office. If you require assistance in completing the following online requirements, you are welcome to attend one of 2 in-person work sessions in the high school computer lab either Tuesday, August 4 from 1-2:00 PM or Wednesday, August 5, 5-6:00 PM. Staff members will be on hand to assist. Please wear a mask.
